Born in Detroit, Michigan, Anna Husband moved to Huntsville in 1996 and has called the Rocket City home ever since. With a background in visual art, graphic design, and interior design, creativity has always been at the center of what she does.
Anna is the owner and artist behind Gilded Moth Tattoo, where she tattoos primarily in a neo-traditional style. Her work is known for bold lines, rich detail, and a love for florals, plants, insects, lady faces, food, and the occasional pop-culture reference. She especially loves taking a client’s idea and giving it her own colorful, slightly weird spin.
Gilded Moth was created to be more than just a place to get tattooed. Anna wanted a studio that felt welcoming, creative, elevated, and genuinely fun to be involved in.
When she’s not tattooing or running the shop, Anna is usually finding another creative project to get herself into—which, at this point, is probably a personality trait.
